2 Samuel 7:27
And now, O Lord GOD, You are God, and Your words are true, and You have promised this goodness to Your servant. Now therefore, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You, O Lord GOD, have spoken it, and with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed forever."
Matthew 7:7-11
Keep on asking, and you
will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on
knocking, and the door will be opened. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone
who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks. You parents—if
your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if
they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! If you sinful
people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your
heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.
Matthew
21:21-22
Then Jesus told them, “I assure you, if you have faith and
don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this
mountain, ‘May God lift you up and throw you into the sea,’ and it will happen.
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
1
John 5:14-15
And we can be confident that he will listen to us
whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will. And if we know he is
listening when we make our requests, we can be sure that he will give us what we
ask for.
1 Peter 3:12
The eyes of the Lord watch over those

face against those who do evil.”
Psalm 9:1-2
I will thank
you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have
done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your
name, O Most High.
( Prayer should include praise )
Psalm
22:1
My God, my God ! Why have you forsaken me ? Why do you remain so
distant ? Why do you ignore my cries for help ? Every day I call to you, my God,
but you do not answer. Every night you hear my voice, but I find no
relief. Yet you are holy. The praises of Israel surround your
throne.
( True faith, like David’s, allows for questioning God. It does
not, however, remove our need to trust him or to praise him. The next time
you’re really down, make up your mind that you’re going to find a way to praise
him anyway and I’ll bet he “blesses your socks off” ! )
Psalm
40:1-3
I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to
me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and
the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He
has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what
he has done and be astounded. They will put their trust in the
Lord.
Psalm 88:1-3
O Lord, God of my salvation, I have
cried out to you day and night. Now hear my prayer; listen to my cry.
For my
life is full of troubles, and death draws near.
Psalm
88:13
O Lord, I cry out to you. I will keep on pleading day by
day.

will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their
land.
Psalm 55:17
Morning, noon, and night I plead
aloud in my distress, and the Lord hears my voice.
Luke
6:12
One day soon afterward Jesus went to a mountain to pray, and he
prayed to God all night.

measures ! )

great nation has a god as near to them as the Lord our God is near to us
whenever we call on him?

give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him,
and he will help you.
Psalm 55:16-18
But I will call on
God, and the Lord will rescue me. Morning, noon, and night I plead aloud in
my distress,
and the Lord hears my voice. He rescues me and keeps me safe
from the battle waged against me,
even though many still oppose
me.
Psalm 65:1-2, 5
What mighty praise, O God, belongs to
you in Zion. We will fulfill our vows to you, for you answer our prayers, and to
you all people will come. ...5 You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome
deeds, O God our savior.
You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those
who sail on distant seas.
Psalm 86:6-7
Listen closely to my
prayer, O Lord; hear my urgent cry. I will call to you whenever trouble
strikes,
and you will answer me.
Psalm 145:18-19
The
Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him sincerely.
He fulfills the desires of those
who fear him; he hears their cries for
help and rescues them.
Proverbs 2:3-5
Cry out for insight
and understanding. 4Search for them as you would for lost money or hidden
treasure. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will
gain knowledge of God.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord
with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in
all you do, and he will direct your paths.

James
1:5-7
If you need wisdom—if you want to know what God wants you to
do—ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. But
when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful
mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
People like that should not expect to receive anything from the
Lord.
James 5:16
Confess your sins to each other and pray
for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous
person has great power and wonderful results.
Ephesians
3:20
Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he
is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or
hope.
Psalms 118:25
Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee,
send now prosperity. (kjv)
